A dedication and open house celebration was held at the Carrie Chapman Catt Girlhood Home and Museum near Charles City, Iowa, on Saturday,
August 27, 2005. About 250 attended the event, which was free and open to the public. An account of the day's ceremony
appeared in the Charles City Press.
